100 days…

Looking forward for the solemnization day and I will officially become someone’s wife. InsyaAllah. May Allah ease our journey to the big day. Amin. 

Bridesmaids story

I have choosen 5 bridesmaids and all of them except for my cousin is my secondary school friends. Since im 13 years old and how time flies. It’s been 13 years i’ve known them and many more years to come. I change my mind in choosing their outfit from POPLOOK to KHADIJAH because i had a hard time ordering from poplook. It goes like this, i choose all of the outfit and put it in my shopping cart and when i click back, all my items disappear. And when i want to order again, it stated out of stock. Totally gave me a hard time, i just stop and decide why not find other outfits. I almost give up. Almost become bridezilla but i cool down. And alhamdulillah my gf help me alot. Plan a meetup with my cousin at geylang. We walk at Tanjong Katong Complex and try my luck to see is there is any potential outfit for them. After going in and out of stores, i finally found the one. Thank god! It’s from KHADIJAH. A princess cut dress. Most importantly its pastel and i love it. Bought it for them and im a happy happy girl. My cousin can tell that im very happy. Because i shared with her almost anything. She said ” maybe ade hikmah why you dont get poplook.” Yup. I was relieved. So we went to arnolds and have our dinner there. Eat like a boss sey. Haha. Feeling satiesfied.

Meeting the girls…

I did plan a meetup with all of them but some just couldnt make it due to personal commitments but i did meet them up individually. I prepared the bridesmaids kit for them dengan penuh kasih sayang and i hope they like it. It’s fun doing all this for them. It’s how i show my appreciation to each and everyone of them and thankful to have them around me during my wedding. Insyaallah. Till next time…

ROMM and Pre Wedding Photoshoot

Last 15 April is my pre wedding photoshoot cum birthday. Yeah! Purposely choose the day of my birthday so macam ade kenangan la gitu. haha. Ade chance nak cantik and amik gambar sekali. Mentel! I booked Yummi Ayumi last year 2014 for my makeover and looking forward with her magic touch. I have confirm with her that my photoshoot will be in the afternoon around 4 plus. And she set the time at 2pm. So our plan is to go ROMM in the morning, then sent my parents and go to her house at 2pm and meet my photographer at 4pm plus.

Tuesday 14 April, I received a call from Yummi in the morning. She said can she postponed the next day. At the moment I was calm. I was buying breakfast at a coffee shop. So I said I cant change the date. Because I have planned it on my birthday and if I were to follow her plans, I cant. But I told her I cant and I within seconds, I told her lets make up in the morning.  So I need to change the plan. My plan is to make up in the morning, go to Romm and then go photoshoot. I msg fadil my photographer and told him what happen, he said ” Makeup can tahan ke..?” I go ” Oh ya!” So I need to change my plan  again. The final plan is to go makeup in the morning, got photoshoot and go Romm in the afternoon. At the rate, all I did was istigfar and pray that everything will go out well. Alhamdulillah

So the day has finally come and I was very excited. My parents and sister tag along to photoshoot. It went well and I was very tired after the photoshoot. But definitely a fun one. Yummi give a few tips about makeup and my photographer Fadil from Tiga M and videographer , Syah, Merah in Motion.

ROMM

   At first I disturb reen saying that the kadi will ask him surah surah al quran and he said ok. Wah slumber je die. Berdegap degup jantung ku. I can see my dad nervous ness maklum lah anak pertama. After my dad keluar, my dad say the kadi ask us both to enter the room. Wah we kene angkat sumpah and It was scary. My heart beats fast when the ustaz talk to us. He is so fatherly and to be honest I wanted to cry not literally cry but sebak la. Too happy I think. Then we get out from the room with happy faces. Alhamdulillah. all is good now.

Next is to go JB with his parents as reen nak buat card kawin and me buy small little stuffs.

Revamp time…

  

His sister just got her new house few months back near my area and she have moved out this month. At first Reen told me that his sister has move out and i was like still in my wedding planning mode. I’m still doing my work. When i received his msg, I was speechless at first. It’s really happening sey. We are going to have our own room. Like macam tak percaya gitu. So it means, it’s makeover time!!!!! I was laughing when i read back, “Wohoooo” Hahahahaha. No comments. Muahahaha. We plan to paint first and next month we plan to buy bed etc. It’s good to have Pinterest. Lots of ideas and inspiration we can get there and here’s what i have in mind.    

   

The cozyness and warmthness of the room makes me feel so comfortable. I already put a budget of $400 for our room and I hope we can do this. First stop is IKEA. Alot of things i can get there. Cant think of a place that has affordable furniture. Any ideas if there is any girls beside IKEA? Now that the wedding is nearer and with alot of things need to plan, pay and appointments, I hope we can go through this journey strongly. Insyaallah. Doa kan kite ye. 😉
